CELTIC, Northwest Gaul. Baiocassi. Late 2nd to mid 1st century BC. 1/4 Stater (Electrum, 11 mm, 1.75 g, 6 h), 'au sanglier' type. Celticized male head to right, surmounted by a boar standing right and with strings of pearls coming out of the hair. Rev. Charioteer, driving a cart drawn by a centaur to right, holding reins in his left hand and long branch ending in a vexillum-like banner in his right; below, boar standing right. DT 2256. LT 6963. Fine.
